We are a sewing and design studio rooted in Mexico, exploring the body—its shape, movement, and complexity—through clothing, art, and objects. Our work exists between ancient and contemporary techniques, drawing from knowledge passed down through generations and reinterpreted for the present.
The 2024–2025 collection emerges from a quiet desire to reconnect with time, place, and the planet. In a fashion system that often forgets where garments begin, we return attention to origins: to materials shaped by patience, landscape, and care. All textiles used are Mexican, chosen for their deep relationship with the land and the communities that give them life.
Our practice understands clothing as a dialogue rather than a product—one that honors memory, material, and responsibility. We create pieces meant to endure, to be worn consciously, and to exist beyond trends and fixed seasons. Free from traditional fashion systems and temporality, our work moves with the body and with time itself.
Based in Morelia, Michoacán, the studio is led by Melanie Dennstedt Garcia. The project stands as an ongoing exploration of identity, heritage, and balance—where past and present Mexico meet in forms that respect both people and planet.
